Despite us (unintentionally) picking a tricky song, Elaine choreographed a beautiful Viennese Waltz that we fell in love with. Neither of us had any ballroom dance experience before, but Elaine did a great job adapting the routine to our relatively modest skill level. She explained all of the steps and moves clearly during the lessons and was able to provide increasingly detailed feedback as we improved. “Elaine was so amazing to work with! Out of all the stress and planning that we needed to do for the wedding, we looked forward to each weekend that we had our lesson with Elaine. We had so much fun learning the choreography Elaine put together based on the song we chose and a video of a dance we found online. Neither of us are trained dancers so we didn't really know what to expect or how things were going to turn out. Everything turned out perfect. We took 5 lessons which, if you want to learn an entire song (roughly 4 mins), would highly recommend this package. Also considering how much fun we had, might have even added on an extra one or two for good luck (though our last lesson did end up being only 2 weeks before the big day!) We definitely blew our friends and family away which is always fun when you hear literal screaming as you try not to laugh and keep your eyes fixed on your partner as you prepare for the lift and spin to really knock em out of their chairs! "If you get the opportunity to work with Elaine for your wedding dance—do it! We are two very uncoordinated people with no dance experience at all. We wanted to have some sort of guidance for our dance since we chose a niche song with fast and slow parts. "I would absolutely recommend taking dance lessons with Elaine! My husband and I don’t have any dancing experience and were a bit nervous about our first dance at our wedding, which was in September 2024. We knew we wanted to do more than just sway but also didn’t want anything that felt overly choreographed, so we decided to take dance lessons to learn some simple but elegant moves. Elaine was quick to respond to our inquiry, scheduled an initial call with us to discuss our goals and song selection, and booked our first lesson soon after.
